Hampstead Theatre is a world renowned theatre dedicated to developing and producing new plays by emerging and established writers, with the occasional timely revival. During its forty-five year history it has produced plays by writers such as Mike Leigh, Harold Pinter, Terry Johnson, Shelagh Stephenson, Debbie Tucker Green and Roy Williams. It moved into its RIBA award-winning building in 2003. Its 325 seat auditorium is famed for its intimacy and wide and deep stage capable of housing large scale productions.
